Mark Geary in the BAG

Mark Geary has become a favourite artiste at BAG, and each year his return is much anticipated, writes Roy Thompson of the Ballymore Acoustic Gigs.

This year sees him return with a brand new album entitled 'The Fool'. From what I've heard so far, the new record continues to exhibit Mark's fine songwriting, and gift for memorable melody.

But, it is live where Mark Geary truly excels. He is one of the most giving of performers that you'll see play. He has a charisma on stage that draws the listener in, and once they're in, he can hold them all night.

Truly, it is a pleasure to welcome him back to BAG. Joining Mark on the night, will be Dave Hingerty on drums, and Colm Quearney on bass.

Patrons are advised to arrive early to avoid disappointment. Admission is €12 at the door. Mick Murphy's Bar, Ballymore Eustace, Co Kildare. Doors open at 8:30pm.
