The passing of Betty Kelly

The Diary has learned of the death of Elizabeth (Betty) Kelly (nee Mackey) of Brannockstown, in her 91st Year. Beloved wife of the late Michael, she passed away in the loving care of the staff at Curragh Lawns Nursing Home.

Her death is deeply regretted by her loving sons Richard, Patrick and Thomas, daughter Marie, Brother Bernard, daughters-in-law Josephine and Breda, son-in-law Tim, sister-in-law Mary, grandchildren Kelvyn, Mark, Carl, Josh, Catherine Claire and Rory, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Betty is reposing at her son Richard and daughter-in-law Josephine's residence, Brannockstown, with prayers this evening at 8pm. Removal tomorrow, Wednesday will take place at 10.30am to the Church of The Sacred Heart and St Brigid, Kilcullen, arriving for 11am funeral mass.

Burial will take place afterwards in New Abbey Cemetery.
