Transition from pre-school to primary school talk

A talk for parents on how to manage the transition of their children from pre-school to primary school will take place on Thursday next in Naas Library, writes Brian Byrne.

The presentation will be given by Dr Mary O’Kane, who will offer very practical advice on the most important skill sets needed by children during this transition.

She will discuss how parents can support their children in developing these skill sets.

The talk begins at 7pm. It is one of a series of such events organised by Kildare Library Service. Attendance is free, but should be booked by contacting the relevant library in advance.
