Medals in Community Games Swimming

The Kildare Community Games Swimming Finals were recently held at the K-Leisure Complex in Athy, writes Papillon Rabbitte. As always, these swimming finals bring out a good crowd to support the young athletes.

The races were held over two days to decide the 26 events with over 200 children taking part. The children from Kilcullen brought home three gold, one silver and two bronze in the individual events and a 4th place medal in the U13 girls relay race. Medals were presented to the winners by the County President Mick Donohue.

Congratulations to all those who competed and well done to the event organisers for another brilliantly run competition.

Individual Results:
Tiernan Donnelly 1st in U8 Boys Freestyle
Sean Dunne 1st in U10 Boys Freestyle
Nadya Dunne 1st place U14 Girls Butterfly
Noah Mahon 2nd in U10 Boys Backstroke
