Stop Food Waste and Master Composter programme

A training programme in organised by Kildare County Council is designed to provide community volunteers wil skills in Preventing Food Waste and composting to Master Composter level, writes Brian Byrne.

There are four sessions in the programme, on three Wednesdays 8/15/22 March between 7-9pm, and a full day on Saturday 11 March. The venue will be in Kildare Town.

The participants will be encouraged to actively promote the Stop Food Waste message to their local communities at events, through school presentations and in their work-places.

The programme is being undertaken in partnership with the Stop Food Waste initiative of the Environmental Protection Authority.
