Naas Panto night for CPC funds

A presentation of ‘Cinderella’ in the Moat Theatre Naas will raise funds for Cross & Passion College in Kilcullen, writes Brian Byrne.

The show, by Newbridge-based Panto Club’s Teen Theatre, is being presented from Friday 20 January to the Sunday of the weekend.

Those on stage are 13-15 year-olds, participants in the Panto Club set up to give children a way of expressing themselves on and off stage.

Other events at the Moat Theatre shortly include a Neil Delamere night on 11 January. ‘Plaza Suite’, an award winning one-act play from the Moat Club in aid of Naas Food Bank is on Friday 13 January. And Jack L returns on 14 January with his soulful voice and unique stage show.

‘The Diner’ will be presented by the Holy Family School Rathcoole on 26/27 January, in a musical set in a New Jersey Diner.

Rebecca Storm will play the Moat on Saturday 28 January, with a host of musicians including her husband Kenny Shearer.
