Murphy's cycle cheque given to CMRF Crumlin

A cheque for €10,389 was given to Children's Medical and Research Foundation in Crumlin today by Murphy Surveys Ltd, writes Brian Byrne.

The proceeds of the summer's Charity Cycle for CMRF Crumlin was presented by Ray and Niall Murphy to representatives of charity, which provides vital funding for Our Lady's Children's Hospital and The National Children's Research Centre.

More than 120 cyclists took part in the event, which was organised in association with Kilcullen Cycling Club and run over two routes of 50K and 100K respectively on 23 July.

The money raised was similar to the amount in the 2015 event. The first one was held in 2013.
