Another international food win for Nolans

Continuing what seems to be an endless winning streak, Nolans of Kilcullen have won for the third time in a row a major award at a food festival in France.

At the Fin Goustiers Awards, they took home again the win for the Best Festive Food Product in the UK & Ireland, with their low salt home baked ham.

They also won awards for their famous home made pork sausages as well as their delicious home made white pudding.

These competitions are organised by the Commanderie des Fins Goustiers du Duche d’Alencon and are the European Championships for Craft Butchers.

James Nolan was thrilled to win all these awards and wanted to give credit to the team of staff that work so hard to make Nolans of Kilcullen the unique place it is to shop. He acknowledged that none of this would have been possible without the phenomenal support from all the customers that visit and shop at Nolan’s of Kilcullen

These recent awards in France follow on from the world cup finals for craft butchers in Frankfurt, Germany earlier this year where Nolans of Kilcullen won five gold medals as well as the Outstanding Achievement Award, to go with the award for the Champion of Champions — Best Butchers Shop in the UK & Ireland which they won in the House of Lords, London in 2015.

With Christmas coming up all the Team at Nolans of Kilcullen are getting ready for the Festive Season which is their busiest time of the year.

They will be selling farm fresh turkeys, their own low salt home cured hams, their award winning home baked hams, traditional spiced beef, free range geese and ducks and lots more.
