Big Blue Box leaves Kilcullen

After a very successful fundraiser competition between the pubs last night, the Big Blue Box cyclecade left Kilcullen this morning for Athy, writes Brian Byrne.

Augmented by a selection of Kilcullen people, the fundraiser for the Irish Cancer Society was carrying a replica of the Old Kilcullen Round Tower for presentation to Athy.

The Bank of Ireland-sponsored initiative finishes on Friday in Kilkenny. Seeing off the Kilcullen group this morning was champion jockey Ruby Walsh.
