Supporting Kilcullen Summer Flowers
The stickers use the slogan 'Keep Kilcullen Beautiful' and they also show the new Kilcullen Tidy Towns logo, which incorporates the tower of Old Kilcullen, the Kilcullen Community Action sun/spear logo, and a butterfly.
The costings for the project were discussed at the most recent meeting of KCA, which included the provision of the flowers themselves, extra plants, and maintenance of the water systems.
Noel Clare said he will have a final amount and breakdown of costs for the next meeting, but there is currently a shortfall towards the estimated cost of €5,300.
It is hoped the difference can be met both through donations from remaining businesses, and a planned street collection in early September.
