The King and the Count ... the sultry look

Just an idle thought about music superstars, writes Brian Byrne. Isn’t there an extraordinary resemblance between Elvis Presley (1935-1977) and Count John McCormack (1884-1945)?

I noticed it when doing the piece about the Monasterevin Walking Tour earlier in the week.

McCormack was one of the superstars of his time. Presley was old enough to have possibly read about him at the time of his death. Did he mimic the Irishman's look?
