Bid to have well heritage listed

Kildare County Council has been asked to have St Brigid's Well in Kilcullen included on the list of heritage sites in the county, writes Brian Byrne.

Cllrs Íde Cussen Reada Cronin tabled the request in relation to the County Development Plan, which is currently being discussed by the Council.

The Well features a sculpture by the renowned late artist, Fr Henry Flanagan OP.
