Annual Vibe for Larry Roddy on Friday

It's that time of year again, writes Roy Thompson of the Ballymore Acoustic Gigs. The gigs have finished for the year, and now it's time for our annual Christmas get-together, in honour of our late, great friend, Larry Roddy. It'll all happen in Mick Murphy's, as usual, from 8pm onwards on Friday night.

Just like Monday nights, it's all (well, mostly) about the music! But, there's no PA, no cover charge, a much later curfew, and an opportunity for yours truly to actually take a drink, for a change! It operates as a song swap, with musicians, singers, poets, and storytellers taking turns to do their party pieces. Good order is given, as always, and it's always a great night.
