Grangebeg's Vegetable Box Scheme seeks new members

The Vegetable Box Scheme operated by the Grangebeg Camphill Community near Dunlavin is an excellent way to have an ongoing supply of the best of organic vegetables.

The boxes are filled with a selection of vegetables from the Community's own fields and polytunnels, for collection by members of the scheme once a week.

Grangebeg is a small farm based community responsible for the care and management of 46 acres of land, on which they run a small herd of cattle, sheep and a few hundred chickens. The vegetable garden provides enough food to sustain the community through most of the year with a surplus to sell to local people and fellow organic growers.

The Vegetable Box Scheme is open to new members. Call Tobias on 087 9145687 or Hazel on 087 1217576, or email grangebeg@camphill.ie for further information or to sign up.
