Bridge Camphill art in global exhibition

A wonderful piece of textile art from the Bridge Camphill Community is among 75 pieces from all over the Camphill 'World' currently on display at Dublin Civic Offices on Wood Quay (picture above courtesy Dublin Civic Offices, via Wikipedia).

Each piece has its own story to tell, and the Bridge contribution focuses on the River Liffey and local area. Other compelling pieces attracting attention are a work depicting the Cliffs of Dover and Dublin city scenes.

Camphill’s 'World Wide Weave' exhibition will remain on display until close of business on 3 December, coincidentally International Day of Persons with Disability.

Eleanor Sutherland, art tutor at the Bridge community, says the exhibition is attracting national media attention from all over the world.

"It's great to see the work of residents acknowledged in such a prestigious venue," said local volunteer Hilary Pallister. “See www.camphillfoundation.net and www.camphill.ie and our facebook page for further details”.
