Philomena in Naas classical evening this weekend

Local soprano Philomena Breslin features at an evening of classical music upcoming in Naas on Saturday, writes Brian Byrne.

Along with friends David Agnew, oboist; and Clive Armstrong on piano and organ, the event will also include contributions by the Anam Girls Youth Choir, flautist Maria Keenan, tenor Tom Dollard, Lily Kettle on violin and Alex Brychta on cello.

The show in the McAuley Place Naas Arts & Culture Centre begins at 8pm, with tickets €20 available on the door or by advance booking from 045 897833.
