Ellie off to the Big Apple

Local musician Ellie McMahon jets off to New York City today to take part in a four-week singing course at The Collective music college.

Ellie won a scholarship while she was studying for her final year at BIMM Dublin, where she graduated with a BA in Commercial Modern Music.

The Collective runs an intensive summer programme for students looking to launch a career in music.

Ellie sings in the band Æ MAK, who were shortlisted for RTÉ 2FM’s competition to play at this year’s Electric Picnic festival. You can vote for them here.
