Hot rodders plan family weekend event

A full family-friendly weekend is being organised by Ballyshannon Hot Rod Club for 4/5 July, writes Brian Byrne.

A number of races over the two days will include the Baby Nicholas Hyland Cup and the Sash Lennon Memorial Cup, and there will also be a series of Go Kart Relay events for all.

Pig on a Spit, a BBQ and Music will be attractions on the Saturday, while other features include a Tug O'War, Face Painting and Bouncy Castle.
