Kilcullen talent in major Newbridge concert

The Gormanstown Choir is performing in the Fr Henry Flanagan Memorial Concert which is being held in Dominican College, Newbridge, this week, writes Brian Byrne. Local organist Peter Moloney will also play there.

It takes place at 8pm on Wednesday 20 May, and also features The Aquinas Singers, In Caelo, Newbridge Gospel Choir, Newbridge Chamber Choir, The Millicent Singers, Kildare Cathedral Choir, and the Newbridge Gospel Choir.

Special guests for the evening are Prof Gerard Gillen (Organ) and Martin Smutny (Trumpet).

All are welcome for what should be an unsurpassable musical evening.

Meanwhile, the CPC Summer Concert on Saturday night, which features the Kilcullen Gospel Choir, is sold out.

(In an earlier version of this post, we erroneously reported that the Kilcullen Gospel Choir was in the Henry Flanagan Concert.)
