CPC students to teach computer skills

Cross & Passion College students are resuming their free lessons for local people in how to use computers and the internet, writes Brian Byrne.

The lessons commence on 20 April and involve one-to-one tuition on the use of laptops, smartphones, and tablets like the iPad.

There will be eight lessons on the course, which will be carried out over four weeks.

Bookings can be made by phoning 045 481524 or logging on to 121digital.ie.

The course is supported by the Department of Communications. CPC Transition Year students have been undertaking this project since 2008, and gain certificates for their work.
