Raising the Roof concert a great success

Our concert 'Raising the Roof' in St Conleth's Church Newbridge last Friday was a great success, writes Gerry O'Donoghue, founder of the Maintain Hope charity.

I was particularly gratified that a big contingent of Kilcullen supporters turned up to enjoy a wonderfully eclectic mix of sacred and secular music presented by Dolce and Newbridge Gospel Choir.

The proceeds, which are still flowing in are for Maintain Hope Children's Home Building Fund. Our next musical fundraiser will be on Bloomsday, June 16 in Kilcullen Town Hall.
