Climb for Mary's India project

CPC teacher Mary Twomey is travelling to India in July with the Global Schoolroom initiative, which supports training of teachers in that country in partnership with Irish teachers, writes Brian Byrne.

To help with her fundraising, she has organised a Sponsored Lugnaquilla climb on Sunday 22 March, leaving from Fenton's Glen of Imaal Bar at the foot of the mountain at 10am.

Refreshments will be served in Moores Pub in Grangecon after the climb. The event is subject to weather, and participants are asked to make sure they have suitable footwear and clothing.

Mary is an Assistant Principal at CPC and a Learning Support Teacher.
