'Caught in the Net' now booking

Tickets are now on sale for the upcoming production of 'Caught in the Net' by Kilcullen Drama Group, writes Brian Byrne.

The Ray Cooney farce, directed by Eilis Phillips, goes on stage on Thursday 9 April with the traditional Senior Citizens preview, and there will be a Gala Night on Friday 10 April and also a show on the Saturday night.

Depending on demand, there are rolling plans to put the play on in the following week also.

The cast includes Adam Tracy, Aisling Dooley, Esther Dooley, Sabina Reddy, Maurice O'Mahony, Vivian Clarke and Bernard Berney (five of whom are pictured here in rehearsal — we'll catch up with the other two this week). Bernard is playing the same character as he did in the play's predecessor, 'Run for your Wife' a quarter of a century ago.
