Nolans to celebrate award today

A celebration of winning the 'Champion of Champions' award from the Countryside Alliance will take place in Nolans Butchers between 12 noon and 2pm today, Saturday, writes Brian Byrne.

Micheal O Muircheartaigh will be the special guest for the event, to which everyone is invited.

"It's both a 'thank you' to all our customers and friends who voted for us to win, and for the fabulous team here in Nolans, without whom there wouldn't be a business," James told the Diary.

The award was presented recently at a ceremony in the House of Lords, Dublin.
