Chew it, and take it home!

Chewing gum deposited in Kilcullen's Community Playground is a continuing problem, the recent meeting of Kilcullen Community Action heard.

It is particularly so on the rubberised mats, and in a general discussion about the playground questions were raised as to how best it could be dealt with.

The issue of incorrect markings on the Community Centre parking area adjacent to the playground was also raised. The meeting heard that discussions were in train to make changes, including properly marked pedestrian pathways, and bus set-down areas.
